The Socially Aware Computing variant is unique in the Netherlands. You can only study this course at the VU. The focus is here: helping people with artificial intelligence. You learn to develop tools and programs to make people's daily lives more pleasant, safer and healthier. For example, you develop an intelligent living environment for the elderly, smart training programs for athletes, or intelligent sensors and tools against stress. We are seeing more and more applications of artificial intelligence in our daily lives.
