The first cycle degree programme in Biomedical Engineering aims specifically to train multi-faceted professional figures able to cover both technical and organisational roles requiring knowledge of the methodological and operational aspects of basic, engineering and biological sciences, particularly focusing on the specific area of biomedical engineering but without neglecting more general areas. The solid technical and scientific bases of the Biomedical Engineering programme can be successfully put to use graduates in the world of work or in order to continue studies to 2nd cycle or professional Master's Degree level.
