While studying a bachelor s degree in biotechnology in his home country of India, Lalhaba Oinam realized he wanted a career in medical research. To chase his dream he transferred to the University of Tsukuba s International Undergraduate Program in Medical Science an English language program offered to students in the third year of a medical or life sciences bachelor s degree.

Applicants must have completed or should be expected to complete 12 years of regular school education by the end of academic year (March), in a country other than Japan. Or applicants satisfying standards specified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). Test score: TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, Reference Letter, Only original certificates or certified copies will be accepted.
