You ll explore how play is a vital component for young children s learning and holistic development. You ll examine the difficulties and problems children may face, from child protection issues to disability and specific needs. And we ll teach you how to ensure that all children receive the right support and protection, so that they have the best possible chances in life to reach their full potential. Putting theory into practice, you ll complete two professional work placements to gain the practical experience that employers look for. For the old GCSE system we require grade C or above and for the new GCSE grading system we will accept grade 4 or higher in both English Language and Maths, A Levels, BTECs and accredited Access courses, value highly the experience you illustrate in your personal statement, IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
