Program Description

This interdisciplinary minor examines societal alcohol and drug abuse from the perspectives of anthropology, counseling, criminal justice, psychology, and sociology. The minor is open to students majoring in any area within any undergraduate college at The University of Memphis or to special students who wish to enroll in order to take such a program.

Eligibility Criteria

High School degree Transcripts; Letters of Recommendation, Personal Statement, Essay Questions; Health Certificate; Health Insurance; English proficiency test scores: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Institution code 1459. TOEFL - 550 or higher on the paper version, 79 or higher on the internet-based test; IELTS (International English Language Testing System- 6.0 or higher.
