The Department of Theatre and Dance trains you in the full range of theatrical disciplines, providing you with mentorship and support in creative expression, critical thinking and personal development. The goal is to create total theatre artists. The Theatre department at Drew is dedicated to a broad-based study of the history, literature, theory and practice of theatre and its various disciplines in the context of an overall liberal arts education. Students grow as artists through rigorous academic courses, internships, exciting opportunities for professional collaboration and an extensive co-curricular production program that centers on student initiative.
Secondary/high school diploma, Personal Statement, Letter of Recommendation, Official College Transcripts, Secondary School/High School Transcript, TOEFL iBT 80 (18 minimum subscores), IELTS 6.5 (6.0 minimum subscores) or completion of INTO Academic English Level 6 with no grades below C (language requirement may be waived on an individual basis based on SAT/ACT scores or previous study in English-speaking country), In-country equivalent of 3.0 high school GPA on a 4.0 scale.
