The Bachelor of Arts offers students a full range of courses in a small, learning-friendly environment. The program is one of the strongest in the country, with students studying a range of topics, including:Dramatic literaturePlaywriting and screenwritingStage management and designProduction, acting and directingTheatre technologyStudents receive course credit for taking part in productions, and advanced students are invited to do specialized creative projects. Partnering with the Gluck Foundation, students can teach theatre workshops in local schools. The department also offers a writing track for undergrads interested in writing for film, theatre and television. Offered by the Department of Theatre in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.

Recent Theatre graduates began careers in performance, design, and production in theatre, TV, and film, including Broadway appearances with Kevin Kline and Claire Danes. Many also decided to continue their academic pursuits at prestigious graduate programs.
