The Bachelor of Arts in Asian studies is an interdisciplinary program that draws on courses and faculty from various departments. It is built around training in East, Southeast, and South Asian languages, but covers many aspects of East Asian history, literature, and cultures. Students may choose between two tracks of study:East Asian studies - focusing on China, Japan, or KoreaComparative Asian studies - allows students to take a broader perspective by developing a comparative, interdisciplinary approach to the study of different areas of Asia and Asian America.This interdisciplinary program is offered by the Asian Studies Program in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
