Bachelors in athletic training education in George mason university

The School of Recreation, Health, and Tourism offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training which is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). A Master s of Science degree Athletic Training (MSAT) is also offered and is pending CAATE accreditation Spring 2018. Both are entry-level, professional preparation programs and graduates are eligible to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) examination. This national credential qualifies athletic trainers to practice in 49 states and the District of Columbia.
