Offered by the Department of Earth Sciences in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, the Bachelor of Science in Geology offers four options:General geologyGeobiologyGeophysicsBiogeographyStudents in any one of these majors learn relevant techniques from the others, thus expanding their problem-solving abilities and career opportunities. Much of the undergraduate training relates to water, oil, and precious metal resources; earthquake and landslide hazards; wildfires; and extinct and endangered species.
