In this program Students use the skills they develop through coursework when they write their junior independent papers and senior theses. In the junior year, each student is guided through the process of designing, researching, and writing a paper on a topic of his or her choice. The senior thesis provides students with the opportunity to tackle larger and more ambitious topics. Applied topics are the most common, and many make use of econometric techniques
