The Ph.D. program is designed to address the diverse professional and academic objectives of those exceptional candidates interested in pursuing in-depth research into an aspect of international political economy. The Ph.D. program offers an interdisciplinary curriculum combined with political science, economics, finance and trade. Admission to the program is limited to candidates with advanced knowledge in one of these disciplines and an M.A. degree.
A master's degree from an accredited college or university (or expected to receive a master's degree before the semester starts), 48 credits, A minimum GPA of 3.00 or above, Completion of the Field of Concentration: Choose two (2) fields of your program and take five (5) courses from each field, Two years (i.e. four semesters) of resident enrollment, Completion of requirements within 14 semesters, Completion of the Comprehensive Examination, Completion of a Doctoral Dissertation and Oral Defense, Article publication in a journal which is recognized as a top rated journal by the Korea Research Foundation or any equivalent journal, Official Transcript, Two letters of recommendation, Study Plan, TOEFL IBT 71, TOEIC 750, TEPS 600, IELTS 5.5
