At undergraduate level, Pacific Studies courses explore the navigation and settlement of the Pacific Ocean, including first settlement of New Zealand, the history behind their migration, and the development of various, unique cultures across the region. You will also learn about modern day issues of politics and security between the islands and New Zealand as we enter the century of the Pacific .Students will have access to UC s extensive collection of New Zealand and Pacific literature housed in the Macmillan Brown Library.
