Doctor of philosophy in composition and music theory in University of michigan ann arbor

The joint program leading to the Ph.D. in composition and music theory has been designed to take advantage of the unusual strengths of the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance in both composition and theory. The program is administered by a steering committee comprising faculty from the two departments and chaired by Professor Andrew Mead.
