Which school's UAE toppers choose and why?

Studying in a good school is an important step in a student's life; therefore, a school should be chosen wisely in consideration of vital factors such as curriculum, rating, fee structure, university placements, facilities, etc. Here is a list of schools in the UAE that check all of the boxes that will have a significant impact on a student's career.

The Indian Academy, Sharjah

It is an English-medium private boarding school that follows the CBSE curriculum for its classes from KG 1 through Grade X. This school focuses on the overall development of the child and gives a lot of importance to extracurricular activities. Its KHDA rating has been "good" since 2014. The average annual fee is around AED 16,500.

North London Collegiate School, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai (NLCS)

It is a senior secondary school established in 2017 and located in Dubai. It provides excellent academic guidance to students through the IB curriculum for all its classes, from Pre-KG to class XII. It is also one of the few authorized IB diploma schools to have a branch in South Korea. The school provides a range of extracurricular activities including sports, arts, etc. The academic year lasts from September till July and the annual fees are in the bracket of AED 66, 000 – 100, 000.

Ambassador School, Sharjah

The school was established in 2016 and is a CBSE secondary school, starting with preschool. The academic year begins in April and ends in March. The Ambassador School has been giving excellent results in academics and extracurriculars since its establishment, attaining a "Very Good" rating from the KHDA. Being one of the best CBSE schools in Sharjah, its students are given priority by the top universities across the globe, which opens ways for them to build their future. It provides laboratories, a sports ground, performing arts and sports facilities, and has a great infrastructure. The fee structure of the schools depends upon the level of education, therefore varies from AED 10,000–17,000/year. 

The Ideal English School, Ras Al Khaimah

The school provides education up to senior secondary level and supports the British curriculum, CIE, IB, and CBSE. The school believes in providing the best quality of education, and the hardworking faculty put in a lot of effort to benefit students. The teachers focus on the holistic and overall development of the child by organizing several clubs, tournaments, and society activities and events.

Emirates National School, Al Ain (ENS)

The school is affiliated with the IB, AP, and American curriculum and delivers a great quality of education up to senior secondary school (XII). It opened its first campus in Md. Bin Zayed City in 2002 and later opened four more campuses across the UAE. All the branches give excellent results every year and find mention among the best schools in the UAE, which are chosen by most of the toppers to complete their education. The tuition fee ranges from AED 20,000–50,000/year.
