St. John Fisher College is a private college of liberal arts located in Pittsford, New York. The College is named after John Fisher , an English Catholic bishop and martyr who presided over the Diocese of Rochester in England. The motto of the university is “Teach me goodness, discipline and knowledge”. The official website of the university is www.sjfc.edu St. John Fisher College was founded in 1948 as a men’s college by the Basilian Fathers with the aid of James E. Kearney who was the Bishop of the Diocese of Rochester. The college became co curricular in 1971. Now Fisher is an independent, liberal arts institution in the Catholic tradition of American higher education.

Prime offers more private suite-style rooms. Apartment style is available through the Residence on Fifth and additional options for housing.
