University history

Temple University is a public research University situated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The university was founded in the year 1884 by Russell Conwell. Earlier it began as a Night school but now the university is home to around 40,000 students around the globe. It is one of the largest universities in Philadelphia that offers around 500 academic programs.   • Saturday, May 1, 2021: Admissions deadline. Students are encouraged to apply for housing by this date.
  • Monday, May 16, 2022: Housing Selection will re-open for new and transfer students who paid by May 1, 2022.
