Entrance test

The entrance test is simply a standardized test that assesses a student's ability and whether they are fit for admission or not. It has specific parameters for the evaluation of a student. To explain the advent of the fame of studying abroad, many factors like studying in renowned universities with multidisciplinary studies, academic expertise, and the university’s links with the corporate, are considered. 

The most common and widely accepted tests are as follows:-

  • IELTS – IELTS is referred to as the International English Language Testing System. If you are planning to study abroad, you must have heard of the IELTS exam which evaluates the fluency and expertise of the English language under four heads: Reading, writing, speaking & listening. It is conducted multiple times throughout the year and is available in computer format and paper format.
  • TOEFL – TOEFL, the Test of English as a foreign language is another test that looks at how proficient in English a candidate is. With its objective scoring, it makes sure that the candidate possesses the required language skills so that they can adapt easily to a foreign environment.

  • GRE – Graduate Record Examination is an examination that influences your study options in countries like the UK, US, or Canada. The basic abilities of maths, reading, and essay writing are being tested. The score results need to be sent to the university, attached with the student's application, statement of purpose, transcripts, and letter of recommendation.
  • GMAT – GMAT or Graduate Management Admissions Test is specifically designed for all those candidates wishing to apply for management programs abroad. It is a feasible predictor of your academic performance. The score range is between 200-800.

  • SAT – SAT which stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test is a test that students aspiring to go to the USA need to attempt.
