NEET National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG to be conducted on May 2020 for the students who are aspiring to study MBBS in India or Overseas universities. There will be no separate exams for AIIMS, JIPMER this year and it will be conducted in 11 languages attracting huge number of students from everywhere.
What is NEET?
NEET is a new qualifying test conducted by MHRD and MCI for the Indian students willing to pursue MBBS, BDS etc. It is scored out of 720 and each year qualifying score varies based on the national cuff of rankings like in 2019 the NEET qualifying score was 134. Government has made mandatory NEET exam for Indian students who want to practice as a Doctor in India post their studies and obtain Eligibility Certificate from Medical Council of India. However there are special Medicine programs are introduced wherein students who are not able to pass their NEET exam are still eligible to study Medicine program in abroad and they can choose to practice as a Doctor in places like USA, Europe, and the Caribbean etc.

NEET is a competitive exam and getting seats into Indian medical universities for students is quite ambitious as there are only 355 MBBS and 300 Dental colleges listed with MCI having total of approx 43,000 seats across India.
