2) You convert the prices into your home currency and judge how various commodities are priced in different countries.

3) You try variety of cusines. Globalisation has brought the world closer but at times the authentic taste is something which is not available everywhere. Especially in a country like India, where there is indianised Chinese (Chinese wilth all added spices etc.) you can try the authentic Chinese in Singapore.

4) You adjust with the timings of country. In Singapore everything is open till 10 pm in the night while in Dubai, expect some restaurants/stores to be open well past midnight. Talking about Sydney, expect the sun to set and most of the stores/restaurants to close at the same time.
