The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is a New Jersey public polytechnic university. It is the most important technological university in the New York metropolitan area. The university's campus spans over two million square feet of land.
NJIT has over 130 programs, including undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees in fields such as STEM, Architecture & Design, and others. For strategic expansion, it has around 60 research institutions, centers, and laboratories. It is classified as an "R1 Doctoral University" due to its high-quality research activities. A 3.6 GPA is required for international students to be admitted to the university. Candidates from other countries, whose first language may not be English, must additionally demonstrate fluency in the language. The college accepts results from the TOEFL, IELTS, and PTE as evidence of English proficiency.

All overseas students pursuing a full-time degree at NJIT are eligible for a variety of scholarships. The scholarships are given out on the basis of merit, academic quality, and the achievements of the students who apply. Students should submit their applications for scholarships as early as possible, preferably alongside their college applications. On a competitive basis, graduate students can apply for a wide range of scholarships and awards. Internal, program-specific or foreign scholarships/awards may be available to students.
Eligibility:
NJIT awards scholarships to students who have excelled academically, as long as they maintain a high GPA. A student must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for one of these awards:
- Visa or a valid visa status
- He/she must be a university student.
- Financial need or any financial problems
- 3.5 cumulative GPA
- All international undergraduate students
- SAT score of 1150 score or higher
Students must write an essay explaining why they are deserving of the award.

The university's admissions website can be used to apply for scholarships by students enrolled there. The deadline for students to apply is June 30th.
