Forensic Science – Ranked in the UK top 20 for the subject area in the Complete University Guide 2021, UCLan’s provision has an outstanding reputation due to the expertise of staff, the facilities, and the breadth of their professionally accredited courses. All this is further enhanced with its ground-breaking partnership with the Lancashire Constabulary, creating the Lancashire Forensic Science Academy.

Law – UCLan’s degrees incorporate plenty of work experience opportunities and national and international educational field trips. Thanks to its affiliation with Preston Crown Court, students can go behind the scenes and gain knowledge and experience in how the courts operate. Many students pursue roles as a solicitor or barrister or move into criminal law, business, and management.
Medicine – UCLan is proud to be training future doctors and physician associates as well as preparing students for other healthcare careers. Students benefit from state-of-the-art facilities opportunities to gain invaluable real-life experience with in-built and voluntary clinical placements in urban and rural NHS settings.

UCLan has partnered with ONCampus, which delivers quality academic, creative, and English Language programs and prepares students to progress onto the leading universities across the world. ONCampus UCLan offers Undergraduate Foundation Programme (UFP), Medicine Undergraduate Foundation Programme (MUFP), and Master’s Foundation Programme (MFP). UFP gives guaranteed progression (subject to fulfillment of specified criteria) to Year-1 of a wide range of undergraduate degrees. MUFP allows applying to Year-1 of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and the MFP gives the guaranteed progression (subject to fulfillment of specified criteria) to many master’s degrees.
