General nursing and midwifery program deals with nursing, health care, and midwifery subjects. Usually, the GNM course is spread over 38 months which covers subjects like basic knowledge about nursing, performing essential duties in hospitals and health institutes. The course is for 3 and a half years with subjects like Anatomy & Physiology, Behavioral Science, Fundamentals of Nursing & Community Health Nursing covered in the first year
