Graduate Research Scholarship Positions at Mobile Computing Lab in Republic of Korea

Applications are gladly received for three Graduate Research Scholarship Positions at the Mobile Computing Lab, Chosun University. The applicant with good grades will join their dynamic international team as Ph.D. or Master Students in the area of mobile computing and wireless networking (including related fields). In South Korea, Chosun University is one of the oldest private university. Its campus is located in Gwangju metropolitan city, in southwestern South Korea. The present president is Joen Ho-Jong. Around 33,000 students are enrolled.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines

In order to apply for a scholarship, the applicant must follow the given criteria:

International students can apply for these aids.

For Ph.D. and M.S. applicants: 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5 or higher of cumulative GPA, or 80% or higher of the cumulative score (preferably in Communications/Computer/ Electronics Engineering or related areas)

Good programming skills in C/C++.

Good English language skills: TOEFL IBT 91, IELTS 6.5 or higher if the applicant’s mother tongue is not English.

Good ability to amalgamate with others in a multicultural environment.

Good ability for highly self-motivated independent research.
