The Clarks Scholars Program at Vanderbilt University was founded in 2017 after the university received USD 15 million gift from A. James Clark Scholars Foundation. The scholarship allows undergraduate students in the School of Engineering to become pioneers in the field and emphasize skills like engineering excellence, service learning, and business acumen which Late A. James Clark wished to cultivate in the students.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
Scholarships are available to students who apply to the School of Engineering at Vanderbilt University.
The selections are based on academic record and demonstration of character, passion, and vision to become engineering pioneers.
No separate application is required to be considered for the scholarship.
The Clark Scholars Program is an amalgamation of coursework, mentoring, experiential learning, and summer experiences to develop first-generation, women, and underrepresented minorities into engineers and leaders and collaborate with the University and School of Engineering.

The Scholarship awards USD 15,000 per year plus assistance for summer immersive experiences.
