Native American Legacy Award

The Native American Legacy Award is awarded by the Colorado State University for the citizens or enrolled students of any recognized federal or state tribe. The students pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies can contest for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines

To be eligible, an applicant:

- Should be a citizen or enrolled student of any recognized federal or state tribe with at least 30 transferable credits

- Should be a non-resident degree seeking student who has enrolled in the University of Colorado main campus

How to Apply:

- The student must submit the completed application form for admission before the deadline.

Required Documents:

- Before the start of the academic term, student should submit the proof of tribal citizenship or membership within 15 business days and the document to be sent to:

Value
This scholarship awards $18,000 for undergraduate students and $15,000 for graduate students. If a student has enrolled half-time or three-quarter time will receive scholarship on pro-rated basis. If they are enrolled as at least half-time students are eligible to avail scholarship for the summer term.

Validity
This scholarship can be renewed at the end of each academic year.
