Started in January 1999 by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministere des Affaires Etrangeres), the Eiffel Scholarship is created to bolster international recruiting by French schools of higher education, in a time when competition to attract top foreign students is rising among developed countries.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
• Only the admitted candidates (Full-time option) can apply for this scholarship.
•Candidates must be of 30 years or below
• Non-French nationality applicants only (applicants with dual nationality, one of which is French, are not eligible).
Value
The Eiffel Scholarship offers candidates with a monthly allowance of about €1,100, and covers additional expenses including travel, health insurance and cultural activities. Tuition fees do not come under the coverage of the scholarship.
