Helen J Van Zante Scholarships

The Helen J. Van Zante Scholarship is awarded to full time undergraduate students pursuing a degree in a field related to the conservation or preservation of the farmland and soil resources at Iowa State University.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be a full time undergraduate students pursuing a degree in a field related to the conservation or preservation of the farmland and soil resources at the university
- Should maintain minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher
- Should possess promise for a career in the field of soil preservation or conservation
- Should demonstrate financial need 

How to Apply:
An applicant 
- Must sign in to the scholarship portal at https://iastate.academicworks.com/users/sign_in to complete a general scholarship application at Iowa State University.

Once these applications and results are submitted, the received application will be auto-matched to the qualifying scholarships. Qualifying is an intermediate step between scholarship application submission by the applicant and selecting scholarship finalists by the University.
