JVS Scholarship Program

The JVS Scholarship Program in partnership with private donors awards Jewish students of those who are the permanent residents of Greater Los Angeles. The students who are planning to enroll in an accredited public or private college, university or vocational school in the United States can contest for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines

To be eligible, an applicant:

• Should be Jewish.
• Should be of at least 16 years of age  
• Should be a U.S Citizen and must be a permanent resident of Greater Los Angeles.
• Should maintain a minimum GPA of 2.7 for undergraduate students and a minimum GPA of 3.0 for graduate students. 
• Should demonstrate financial need

How to Apply:

An applicant should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to avail this scholarship.

The scholarship grant is decided after the review of each application
