The Harry Butler Institute Honours Scholarships is awarded to the full time students pursuing Bachelor of Science and provide support for projects that align with its vision of sustainable development and the co-existence of community, business and biodiversity at Murdoch University.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be full time student pursuing Bachelor of Science in one of the following courses:
• Biological Sciences
• Conservation and Wildlife Biology
• Environmental Science
• Environmental Management and Sustainability
• Crop and Pasture Science
• Marine Sciences
• Or an honours program where the topic aligns with the values of Harry Butler Institute.
- Should undertake research in the area of conservation/environmental science or biosecurity in a project that aligns with the vision and mission of the Harry Butler Institute.
- Should be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

- A summary of your intended honours project of no more than one A4 page
- A personal statement describing how your project aligns with the mission and values of the Harry Butler Institute
- Written confirmation from your proposed honours supervisor confirming supervision of your project
- A written reference from a person qualified to comment on either your academic studies or current or past employment.
