National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic for PhD students

Government of the Slovak Republic offers National Scholarship Programme to support the mobility of international PhD students, university professors, researchers, and artists at the institutions of the Slovakia. This Scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport. Citizens from any country can apply for this scholarship except the citizens of Slovakia Republic.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines

• Ph.D. students with scientific training or higher degree from outside Slovakia and have been accepted by a public, private, or research institution in Slovakia to conduct research are eligible to apply.

• International university teachers or researchers with valid certificate to carry out research at Slovakia are eligible to apply.

Value
The scholarship awards 580 EURO per month for Ph.D students and to teachers, researchers and artists without Ph.D, 850 EURO per month to those with Ph.D and less than 10 years of work experience and 1000 EURO per month to those with Ph.D and more than 10 years of work experience.
