Northwest's goal is to make higher education accessible to as many qualified students as possible. The University grants scholarships to students based on academic ability, financial need or a combination of both need and academic merit.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, U.S. citizen or a graduate from eligible high schools. Non-immigrant students are not eligible.
First-time freshman.
ACT: 18-36 and minimum 2.50 GPA.
Attend an A+ eligible Missouri high school and indicate A+ on the admissions application.
The actual award made upon confirmation of completed A+ requirements.
Limited number awarded.
Only available to students beginning in the fall semester.
Value
$1,500 May receive in addition to other Northwest automatic scholarships.
Deadline
April 1
Validity
Renewable for one year by completing 24 credit hours at Northwest during the year with a 3.30 Northwest cumulative GPA.
