Northwestern University offers this scholarship to Students graduating from high schools in the Cities of Chicago and Evanston, as determined by zip code, are eligible to be considered for the scholarship. This includes public, parochial, and independent schools. Students admitted to the traditional undergraduate program on the Evanston Campus through either the early or regular application process will be considered.

The applicants for Northwestern University Good Neighbor, Great University Scholarships, should have financial need and financial aid eligibility.
The financial need is determined by the FAFSA and Profile applications as well as tax returns, at the minimum.
The applicants should re-apply for financial aid every year.
The recipients should maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

This scholarship awards $1,000 - $5,500.

Validity
The scholarship is renewable for four years. If you have been accepted into one of the special five year programs at the time of admission, you may receive the scholarship for up to five years. However, it is necessary to reapply for financial aid each year. If need changes, the amount of the scholarship will be adjusted.
