The International Ibsen Scholarships have been initiated by the Norwegian government. They hope for as many applications as possible, from projects throughout the world.
Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines:
The scholarships are meant to act as incentives for critical discourse in regards to existential and society-related subject matters concerning Henrik Ibsen. Scholarships are applicable to individuals, organizations or institutions within the artistic and cultural communities.
To be eligible for the scholarship candidate should fulfill the below criteria:
The project description must hold:
Project title.
A detailed description of the project.
A description on how the project contributes to a critical discourse (statute 2).
Mandatory attachments:
A detailed project description.
A detailed budget and a finance plan. The budget estimate must be in Euro or USD.
A detailed project timeline.
Cv of project participants.
The application must be written in English.
Value
Scholarship funds amount to NOK 1.000.000- (approx. Euro 125.000, US Dollars 2,000,000) will be awarded to Ibsen-related projects world wide.
