The Humphrey Fellowship Program is for skilled professionals interested in strengthening their leadership skills through a mutual exchange of information and understanding about problems with common concern within the U.S. and Fellows’ home countries.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
The candidate should have the below eligibility criteria.
An undergraduate (first university) degree.
Less than 5 years of full-time, professional experience.
Restricted or no previous experience in the United States.
Incontestable leadership qualities.
A record of public service within the community, and English language ability.
Approximately 200 Fellowships are awarded annually.
Value
The Fellowship provides for Payment of tuition and charges at the allotted host university; Pre-academic English language training, if required; A maintenance living allowance, including a one-time settling-in allowance; Accident and illness coverage.
