E Jack and Ailene Liechty Scholarship Fund in the School of Journalism

The E. Jack and Ailene Liechty Scholarship Fund in the School of Journalism is awarded to full time junior or senior students pursuing journalism and mass communication in the School of Journalism & Mass Communication at University of Iowa.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be a full time junior or senior students pursuing journalism and mass communication in the School of Journalism & Mass Communication at the university.
- Should be seeking a career in newspaper journalism
- Should demonstrate sound and academic ability.

How to Apply:
An applicant 
- Must sign in to the scholarship portal at https://uiowa.academicworks.com/users/sign_in  to complete a general scholarship application at University of Iowa

Once these applications and results are submitted, the received application will be auto-matched to the qualifying scholarships. Qualifying is an intermediate step between scholarship application submission by the applicant and selecting scholarship finalists by the University.
