The United Nations University International Institute for Software Technology (UNU-IIST) looks for applications for its 5 Ph.D. programs which begin in September and January.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
Applicants for the Ph.D. positions are expected to have been awarded a Master degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Software Engineering, Computer Science or other disciplines with a large ICT component, with strong academic records.
Value
Monthly stipend will be USD 1,000 during the stay in Macau and USD 1,500 during the stay in Pisa. Health insurance is provided free of charge. While staying in Macau accommodation (except utility costs) is also provided free of charge.

The time period of the study and the scholarship is 42 months, of which at least 6 months will be spent in Pisa, Italy.
