Chancellors Award

The Chancellor’s Award is awarded to the full time undergraduate school-leavers with an outstanding performance in the NSW Higher School Certificate Examination at the University of Sydney.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be a fulltime undergraduate school-leavers with an outstanding performance in the NSW Higher School Certificate Examination at the university.
- Should be a Australian citizen or permanent resident or a citizen of New Zealand
- Should have ATAR 99.90 or equivalent
- Should be a current school lever
- Should have a University of Sydney course on your UAC application preferences
- Should be a domestic student
- Should maintain an excellent academic record, with a Distinction Level Semester Average Mark 75.

NOTE: An applicant should not be in receipt of Sydney Scholars

How to Apply:
The scholarships are awarded automatically following the release of ATAR results.

Value
The Award is awarded up to $10,000 and recipients will also receive priority access to accommodation near campus and leadership programs.
