The Dr Lawrence F Smith Scholarship for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students is awarded to the full time undergraduate or postgraduate students pursuing the Doctor of Dental Medicine or Bachelor of Oral Health at University of Sydney.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be a full time undergraduate or postgraduate students pursuing the Doctor of Dental Medicine or Bachelor of Oral Health at the university.
- Should identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person as defined in the University of Sydney’s Confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identity Policy 2015
- Should demonstrate financial need

The scholarship will be awarded by the Head of School and Dean of the Sydney Dental School, or their nominee.
