The University of West London offers an International Ambassador Scholarship program which awards up to 100 scholarships each year. Not only does the scholarship program provide financial support, but it is a great way to meet peers also in their first year of study. The International Ambassador Scholarship acknowledges and provides funding for outstanding students who would like to act as ambassadors for the University of West London.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
Applicants should be eligible for the below criteria:
• A self-funded overseas full fee-paying paying student (please note: EU candidates don't seem to be eligible).
• A proposal holder for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at UWL. This means, you need to have already applied for a course of study at this University and you need to have already received an official offer from one of our Admissions Officers.
• The International Ambassador Scholarship is going to be awarded on a competitive basis to candidate’s who demonstrate enthusiasm and therefore the ability to be an excellent international student ambassador.
Value
Scholarships are worth up to £5,000. The scholarship provides a discount against the cost of tuition fees for the first year of study only.
Deadline
For courses starting in January applications must be received by 30 November, For courses starting in May applications must be received by 31 March, For courses starting in September applications must be received by 30 June.
Validity
This Scholarship is valid for the first year of study only.
