The Carr Scholarship was founded in 2006 by Blaine and Louise Clyde to help and support single-parent students. Blaine and Louise Clyde have supported the community for education. They introduced four scholarships at Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University (UVU), and Utah State University. Continuing, Private, Women’s Success Center students are eligible to contest for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant 
• Should get a minimum of 12 credits at UVU
• Should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
• Should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA)
