Weber State University provides more than 200-degree programs, which includes 15 Masters Programs. The average class size is only 21 students, which means teachers can provide more support. Planned to make an attending school in Utah even more reasonable for international students, Weber Edge International is a program that provides new students the opportunity to pay the equivalent of in-state tuition and fees after finishing 24 credit hours at Weber State University.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, new freshman must:
Have membership in one of the following tribes: Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation, Navajo Nation, Northwestern Band of Shoshoni Nation of Utah (Washakie), Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah, Skull Valley Band of Goshute Indians of Utah, and Ute Indian Tribe of the Uintah & Ouray Reservation, Hopi and Zuni.
Earn a 3.1 high school GPA or higher and/or earn a 21 composite ACT score or higher.
Maintain full-time status (12 credits) and a 2.5 WSU cumulative GPA.
Native American Scholarships are limited to a total of 3 students per tribe, either new freshman or transfer. Awards will be determined on a first-come basis, according to the date the Financial Aid & Scholarship Application is completed. This four-year (8 semester) award waives 50% of resident tuition and general fees.
