Opportunity Scholarship

Weber State University provides more than 200-degree programs, which includes 15 Masters Programs. The average class size is only 21 students, which means teachers can provide more support. Planned to make an attending school in Utah even more reasonable for international students, Weber Edge International is a program that provides new students the opportunity to pay the equivalent of in-state tuition and fees after finishing 24 credit hours at Weber State University.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines

To be eligible, new freshmen must:

WSU Academic Scholarships is for New Freshmen Utah Resident.

Academic scholarships are based high school cumulative GPA and composite ACT/SAT score.  

Meet the WSU scholarship index score of 99-104 (determined yearly).

Maintain full-time status (12 credits) and a 2.5 WSU cumulative GPA.

Students who live on campus can get an additional $1,000 housing tuition discount ($500 per semester) which is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Value
This four-year (8 semester) award of $500 ($250 per semester) is applied to in-state tuition with a total value of $2,000.
