WeberEdge International Scholarship

Weber State University provides more than 200-degree programs, including 15 Masters Programs. The average class size is only 21 students, which means teachers can grant more support. Designed to make an attending school in Utah even more affordable for international students, WeberEdge International is a program that offers new students the opportunity to pay the equivalent of in-state tuition and fees after completing 24 credit hours at Weber State University.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines

Scholarships are available for qualified new international students.

Weber Edge International is a program that provides freshmen the opportunity to pay the equivalent of in-state tuition and fees after finishing 24 credit hours at Weber State University or the LEAP department (Learning English for Academic Purposes) with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

To be applicable for this program, students must commit to living in our on-campus housing and have paid regular tuition for a minimum of 24 hours of credit.

Additional application steps may be needed depending on individual scholarships. The application is accessible from beginning September 1 each year. Priority date to submit the Specialized Scholarship Application is December 1 each year.

Validity
Unlike student loans, scholarships do not need to be repaid. Depending on the award, they may or may not be renewable.
