Students will develop transferrable skills which will allow them to present information coherently and analyse and evaluate arguments. Learners will study: Ancient philosophical influences, the nature of the soul, mind and body, arguments about the existence or non-existence of God, the nature and impact of religious experience, the challenge for religious belief of the problem of evil, ideas about the nature of God and issues in religious language.
A minimum academic standard equivalent to 5 passes at grade C or above in GCSE or IGCSE English Language , or an equivalent examination in order to be accepted onto an A Level course, Academic English 6.5 or an IELTS pass of 6.0 (or equivalent) or above in each skill, 16, 17, 18, 19 or 20 Minimum age requirement.
