It is the scientific study of people, the mind and behaviour. At A-level it is classified as a science, so if you are planning on choosing this subject you are advised to have competence in the natural sciences (such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics). In addition, you will use skills from Maths, English, Sociology and Philosophy throughout the course. The two-year A-level has three papers which include Social, Cognitive, Biological, and Learning approaches.
A minimum academic standard equivalent to 5 passes at grade C or above in GCSE or IGCSE English Language , or an equivalent examination in order to be accepted onto an A Level course, Academic English 6.5 or an IELTS pass of 6.0 (or equivalent) or above in each skill, 16, 17, 18, 19 or 20 Minimum age requirement.
