Admission Criteria For A-levels or BTEC: The required entry range for A-levels is ABB–BBC (equivalent to 128–112 UCAS Tariff points). The BTEC Extended Diploma requires DDM–DMM. Conditional offers usually fall within this range. Specific Requirements: A-levels must include mathematics and a physical science. BTEC must have a merit in further mathematics for engineering techs. International Baccalaureate: A minimum of 28 points is required, with three subjects at the Higher level. The Higher level subjects must include mathematics and physics with a grade 5. GCSE: A minimum grade of C or grade 4 is required. The subjects must include English language, mathematics, and a physical science. Prior Study or Relevant Experience: Qualifications, Higher Education credits, or relevant experience can be taken into account. This may exempt you from certain course components or enable you to start in the second or third year. English Language Requirements: Overall, an IELTS score of 6.5 is required. Each element of the test must have a minimum score of 5.5.
