Program Overview

The MBioMedSci is an integrated four-year undergraduate Masters course. It will enable you to gain a balanced understanding of the biological principles relating to the function of the human body and the characteristics and diagnosis of disease leading to possible therapeutic interventions. You will spend a year focusing on a major independent research project of your chosen specialism. This will provide an extended programme of technical training and enhanced transferable skills. You will gain a solid grounding in the principles of biomedical science prior to studying more specialist and advanced topics.

120-112 UCAS Tariff points. You must have both: passed Standard XII with a good grade and the Higher Secondary School Certificate. IELTS at level 6.0, with no scores less than 5.5 in any section. 26 IB Diploma Points including HL 5 in Biology AND HL 4 or SL 5 in English and Mathematics. A levels ­– to include grade C in one of the following subjects: Biology (with Pass in Practical Assessment), Human Biology or Applied Science
