This course will enable you to work within both the departments of Biology and Chemistry and experience the excellent facilities for teaching and research in both. About half of the academics in each department are engaged in some aspect of biochemistry research, which means that you will have access to some of the best minds in the field. Their research impacts on and informs many aspects of our teaching. You will also have the opportunity to experience working in a state-of-the-art biochemical laboratory during your final year research project.
Should have A levels with AAA/AAB including Chemistry and either a second science or Maths, BTEC with 180 credits, European Baccalaureate with Overall score of 85%/80%, International Baccalaureate with 36 points including 6 in Higher Level Chemistry and 6 in Higher Level Biology or Physics, Irish leaving Certificate, Scottish Highers / Advanced Highers, Other qualifications, TOEFL iBT 87 or IELTS 6.5 minimum 6.0 in each component
