The MChem at Northumbria is an enhanced undergraduate course which examines the use of chemistry in the modern world. You will gain a thorough knowledge base in chemistry before exploring areas such as nanotechnology, drug design and action, new materials, computational chemistry, biotransformations and cell factories. You can tailor the course to your individual interests via a wide range of modules and the final year major research project. Standard XII/Class XII from CBSE, CISC 65% and above, 120 UCAS Tariff points . From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, T Level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. GCSE Requirements: Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C, or an equivalent. Should have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or an approved equivalent*).Applicants will need Grade B in A-level Chemistry, or a recognised equivalent.
